Matt Hoots of SawHorse Design Build talks with Justin from Shapes Unlimited at the International Builders’ Show / Kitchen & Bath Industry Show about a durable, low-maintenance aluminum fence system.
Designed as an alternative to conventional pressure-treated wood fencing, the system uses fully extruded aluminum posts, top rails, and bottom rails, with aluminum-skinned slats over a polyurethane core. The result is a rigid but lightweight fence system with a realistic wood-look finish, multiple color options, and installation methods for surface mounting, setting posts in the ground, or using impact posts.
For homeowners in Atlanta and across the Southeast, fence durability matters. Ground-contact wood posts can be especially vulnerable to moisture-related decay over time. This system removes wood from the structural components that go into the ground and uses aluminum components that resist corrosion.
Once the posts are installed, the fence slats drop into place for a streamlined installation process. The product is available through Primalux and Shapes Unlimited.
