Insulation | Perfect Wall, ROCKWOOL, Zip System
The “Perfect Wall” has four major control layers. It starts with the “Vapor Control Layer” that controls vapor intrusion or loss, depending on the season. We used the Zip System, so the “Air Control Layer” was achieved by sealing the seams in the panels. The “Thermal Control Layer” consists of ROCKWOOL insulation on the walls, roof, and under slab. The final layer is the “water control layer,” the roofing, and the siding.
