At IBS 2026, Matt Hoots of SawHorse Design Build visits the Interfonction booth to explore two flexible interior systems: a retractable kitchen screen faced with Dekton and a large-span sliding door system for residential or commercial spaces.

The concealed kitchen screen uses hardware hidden behind the panel, allowing a Dekton surface to move in and out of place with a simple push. Because the screen can match the countertop material, it offers a clean way to conceal a coffee bar, prep area, or other kitchen functions while maintaining a cohesive design.

Matt also looks at a sliding door system that can open a space up or provide privacy when needed. It is a versatile option for a home office, conference room, flex space, or open-concept living area where the ability to divide a room matters.
