We were invited to see the renovated home that was on display at the Internation Builder’s Show in Orlando this year. Everything seemed normal until I saw the electric meter, solar panels, and HERS rating. This house was set up to get a check back from the electric company for creating too much power. They did have NG as well for water heating, however, the majority of the appliances were powered by the sun.
