DeWalt has come up with a new battery that is smaller, lighter and has more power. This year at #IBS2022 we ran into a DeWalt rep Phil Martino who took the time to explain how these new batteries work.
Cordless tools have come a long way over the year and now there are more options than ever. 20 years ago all of my Dewalt tools were 19 V or 12 V. Now Dewalt has 20 V, 40 V, and 60 V with varying amounts of power and energy storage.
On day 1, I used our 4.5″ angle grinder, and it was not quite up to the task, so I bought a 7″ angle grinder to make the task go by quicker.

To help keep the yard clean, I bought a Dewalt Cordless trimmer + leaf blower kit. I already had other Dewalt tools, so the extra batteries would be compatible with the rest of my DeWalt tools.
