We borrowed the Sub Zero- Wolf – Cove showroom to answer the age-old question- which cooktop can boil water the fastest. We timed how long it would take to boil 2 cups of water (enough for most rice) on gas, electric, and induction cooktop.
Most cooktops take over 10 minutes to boil water and watching it does not make it go any faster. Inductions cooktops can boil water in under 3 minutes and they are more energy-efficient!
